Tea of the Dead is a blend to honor our ancestors and to sip in celebration of Samhain or Dia de Los Muertos.
This earthy and floral blend can be added to spell jars, placed loose on altars, or enjoyed as a hot tea with friends and family that are here or in the beyond.
Ingredients include:
Rosemary for remembrance
Linden Flower to assist with letting go
Lavender for luck
Sage for protection
Cinnamon, clove, & black peppercorn to honor, send well wishes, and add spice to their second life
Orange Peel for happiness & health
and
Red Rooibos to carry your messages across the veil
To brew: use 2 teaspoons tea per 8 oz just boiled water. Steep 5 to 10 minutes depending on flavor preferences. Flavor with honey for sweeter memories, with lemon to guide spirits in their way, or add a touch of whiskey to brighten the conversation and honor the dead.
This tea is only available during the months September to November so be sure to stock up while you have the chance! :)
